Provided by Sunny Brook Stables as the required first step for new riders. Begin with Heart™ is a 60–75 minute unmounted orientation and horsemanship experience. Depending on the rider's previous experience, goals, and readiness, a brief mounted assessment may be incorporated by invitation.
BEGIN WITH HEART™ — $95 1. Welcome & Farm Tour — 15 min Meet the team, see the facility and learn about Sunny Brook. 2. Meet the Horses — 15 min Learn how we approach horses as individuals. 3. Horse Care & Grooming — 20 min Hands-on grooming, safety and horse communication. 4. Horsemanship & Safety — 15 min How we teach, handle and care for horses. 5. Rider Consultation — 15 min Goals, experience, availability and program fit. 6. Next-Step Recommendation Choose the appropriate Academy or experience.
