Our Horse Stewardship Academy provide meaningful educational experiences that connect people with horses through compassion, service, and hands-on learning. Looking Toward the Future
As Red Heart Horse grows, we envision expanding our educational impact through thoughtfully developed equine-assisted learning, wellness, and therapeutic programming.
Our founder, Dr. Grania Gothard Holman, holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with professional experience in special education, foreign language education, literacy education, music education, K–12 education, higher education, educational leadership, and curriculum development. This educational foundation guides the design of our stewardship programs and our long-term vision for creating meaningful learning experiences that benefit both horses and people. Future equine-assisted services will be developed responsibly with appropriate professional partnerships, specialized training, certifications, staffing, and infrastructure to ensure the highest standards of care for participants and horses alike.
