At Sunny Brook Stables, we believe becoming a better rider begins with understanding the horse. Our adult clinics bring together riding instruction, horsemanship, groundwork and horse care in an encouraging environment where adults can learn at their own pace. You don't have to be preparing for a show. You don't have to own a horse. You don't have to be a show rider, either. And you don't have to have ridden recently. You simply need a willingness to learn.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE Each clinic is designed around a specific theme, but may include: RIDING Develop your position, balance, communication and confidence in the saddle. HORSEMANSHIP Learn to recognize what your horse is communicating and how your choices affect the ride. GROUNDWORK Build communication and partnership from the ground before getting in the saddle. HORSE CARE Understand grooming, tack, preparation and the everyday responsibilities of caring for a horse. INSTRUCTION Receive thoughtful coaching in a supportive small-group environment.
